Slow Flow

A special treat at the end of the week. This is a practice dedicated to slowing down- mindfully linking breath with movement. Amanda encourages you to feel each posture and let go of what you think the poses should look like. You will be guided to work with your breath, creating space for a balance between effort & ease, stillness & flow. Always ending with a blissful savasana. All levels welcome.

Monday Reset

Gentle, meditative movement combined with restorative postures are the perfect way to reset your mind and body at the beginning of the week! Open to all genders, body types and levels of practice. All are welcome!

EmPower Hour

Designed for students who have been practicing yoga for a minimum of one year. This is a vinyasa style class with less emphasis on alignment and more emphasis on movement and flow. Arm balances and inversions may be explored! Enjoy a short meditation in each class.

Go with the Flow

You deserve to give yourself this hour!  Vinyasa flow yoga synchronizes rhythmic breathing with motion.  Come join us on your mat for a fun all levels class!  This class is for everyone and anyone.  It will challenge the experienced yogi while still giving plenty of options for those who want a more relaxed yet vinyasa flow based class.  This class promises to leave you feeling refreshed and energized!

Mom & Baby: Post-Partum Yoga

The physical and emotional changes experienced during the first 6-12 weeks after giving birth are almost as great as those experienced during the pregnancy! While postpartum is not the time for intense yoga practices, simple breathing and stretching with meditation can help balance your mind and body. This class is an opportunity to take quiet time and do something healing for yourself and your baby. Working gently on toning, strengthening, drawing in and up, bringing the uterus back in place will be of focus. Each class will end with an informal infant massage for touch relaxation. *Please wait a minimum of 6 weeks after the birth of your baby before joining us, 8 weeks if you have had a c-section.

Morning Energizer

This class is being offered as an All Levels Sun Salutation flow. Focus will be on using the breath to move from one pose to the next and energizing the entire body by connecting with the core. Complete the practice with a long savasana and leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to enjoy the rest of your day.

Yoga & Healthy Ageing

Yoga is the ideal companion at any stage in life, especially as we befriend our ever-changing bodies. Supporting one another is critical as we age and essential to our physical, mental and spiritual health. Yoga’s gift to us is the awareness of our own body and it’s strength. Using props enables us to be gentle in our practice and to trust our balance with a sense of independence and freedom. No previous yoga experience necessary.

Yin Yoga/ Yin Essentials

An intelligent, safe way to stress the physical body in order to keep it healthy and strong. Yin is known as the quiet yoga, with postures being practiced on the floor, concentrating on the parts of the body that are closest to the core and critical to physical well-being and range of motion.  This class will focus on receiving space for surrender, thereby cultivating stillness and balance. Yin yoga is the perfect compliment to other more yang styles of yoga. All levels welcome. *Amanda will provide essential oils during the Yin Essentials class, offering the opportunity for you to explore the many healing qualities therapeutic oils have on the mind and body, enhancing your  yoga practice.

Pre-natal

This nourishing and gentle class prepares the expectant mother and her baby for the birthing process through a series of postures and breath work. This class is uniquely designed to help women adapt to the changes happening in her body during this period of time. A great place to connect with moms-to-be!

Yoga during pregnancy can help moms:

    • Sleep better
    • Reduce stress and anxiety
    • Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of the muscles needed for childbirth
    • Decrease lower back pain, nausea, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches and shortness of breath
    • Decrease the risk of preterm labor, pregnancy-induced hypertension and low birth-weight

Foundations Flow

Experience an alignment-based flow class with strong emphasis on working each pose from the ground up to integrate strength, flexibility, wisdom and grace. Encouraged are all levels of yoga practitioners as first-year beginners will develop proper alignment techniques and experienced practitioners will be able to dive deeper into yoga therapeutics which will allow a further understanding and advancement of the postures. Often referred to as ‘workshop-style’ classes by her students, Karen’s aim is to help heal imbalances, restore and rejuvenate the body through a physical, spiritual, inspirational and strong therapeutic approach. Enjoy a short meditation in each class.

Spicy & Sweet

Work out your mid-week stress on your mat with this pairing of yoga styles emphasizing mindful movement, alignment and breath. The first portion of this class will challenge and invigorate with playful, warming, dynamic flow. The second portion will be devoted to supportive, meditative postures to invite stillness and calm.
